Responsible for seeing all follow up pain patients as well as assisting the physician in seeing the new patients. Physician will train you to do trigger point injections, knee, elbow and shoulder joint injections. Clinic uses "Electronic Medical Record (EMR)" and each exam room is equipped with computer. No hand writing, notes, paper work or dictation. It is a busy practice and average number of follow up patients seen by FNP/PA could be 35-45. This position offers autonomy with 24-hour cardiologist support. Typical duties include admitting patients with cardiology complaints from ER, performing consults and management on hospitalized patients. Two or more years experience in cardiology required. Must have knowledge of management of Acute Coronary Syndrome, Interventional/Invasive cardiology and Pacemaker AICD implantation.
