Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner/Sandusky, MI - Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner needed in the Blue Water area, a sub-region of the Michigan "Thumb, for a respected leader among behavioral health organizations. Must have mental health experience with both adults and children. This community mental health organizations serves patients in a three-county area. NP will provide comprehensive evaluation and psychiatric diagnosis; management of mental health care during acute exacerbation and chronic illness; consultation and/or collaboration with other health care providers or community resources; provide referrals; prescribe medications with management, monitoring and education. This contract position is for 37.5 hours per week at a rate of $31-51 per hour based on experience. Schedule is usually Monday through Friday, but may include some Saturdays. Beautiful facilities located in smaller community about 90 miles north of Detroit. Must be nationally certified and licensed in Michigan.
